With just under a week until applications close for the ASA Event Volunteer Programme 2015, don’t miss out on the opportunity to become one of our elite group of event volunteers.

The Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) is the national governing body for swimming, and we have a fantastic opportunity for those with an interest in event management to gain valuable and relevant experience at national sporting events.

The Event Volunteer Programme (EVP) is a 12 month national programme delivered by the ASA, designed to develop volunteers for event management roles and provides the opportunity to support with the delivery of some of our most high profile events.

We are looking for people who are enthusiastic, great problem solvers and able to think on their feet. There are many different event roles at an event and placements will be targeted to four main areas:

  • Sports Presentation
  • Media/Marketing
  • Timing/Recording/Result Distribution
  • Biographies

Full role descriptions for each of the above can be found on the ASA website.
